Cheryse McLeod Lewis To Debut With Seattle Art Song Society On Earth Day

Cheryse McLeod Lewis will make her Seattle Art Song Society debut on Sunday, April 22, 2018 (Earth Day). The performance will take place at Queen Anne Christian Church in Seattle beginning at 3:30 PM.

Join SASS as we explore the elements of Fire, Earth, Water and Air through song. The program features songs by Hugo Wolf, Juliana Hall, Ruth Crawford Seeger, Aaron Copland, Henry Purcell, Ernst Bacon, Reynaldo Hahn, Ralph Vaughn Williams, Roger Quilter, Björk, and new works by Steven Luksan and Brian Armbrust.

The cast includes Rachelle Moss (Fire), Dora Barnes (Earth), Cheryse McLeod Lewis (Water), Andrew Etherington (Air), Julia Benzinger (Gaia), and Darrell J. Jordan (Everyman). The pianist for this performance will be Steven Luksan.

Cheryse McLeod Lewis will make her solo role debut with Seattle Opera this summer singing Annie in Porgy and Bess. Cheryse is also the female model in all of Seattle Opera's marketing materials for the 2018 production.

Cheryse McLeod Lewis To Perform On Visiting Guest Artist Series at Central Washington University

Cheryse McLeod Lewis has been invited to perform as a part of the Visiting Guest Artist Series at Central Washington University on February 9, 2018. She will perform her solo show "Then Sings My Soul" and will be joined on the program by the CWU Choirs that will perform 3 spirituals with Ms. Lewis. The performance will take place at the CWU Department of Music Recital Hall on the CWU campus in Ellensburg, WA.

Cheryse McLeod Lewis to make her Village Theatre Debut during the 2017-2018 Season

Cheryse McLeod Lewis will make her Village Theatre debut during the upcoming 2017-2018 season as Cinderella's Stepmother in INTO THE WOODS. Performances will run for 9 weeks from September 14 through November 19, 2017. More details can be found HERE.
